Art How To
Purchase |
More
about Iris printing and how to contact me: Each carefully conceived digital print is thematically related
to an art historical tradition of visual perception and the illusory nature
of color and time in equilibrium. When you purchase one of these prints, you are purchasing part
of an art history that stretches back through millennia, and forward, through
my own lifetime, into the future. The nature of these artworks, rooted as they are in deeply held
human values, and executed on state-of-the-art equipment, means that they are
both of-the-moment and timeless. It is my firm desire that your purchase will
not only provide aesthetic significance within your lifetime, but for
generations to come. Unframed prints with a printed area about 22" x 22" are
$800.00 to $1200.00 when shipped in the continental US. Larger prints are
sometimes available, at a cost of about $2000 per print. The total size of
the smaller prints is 36" x 36" These images are high resolution archival digital Iris prints.
These same prints are in the collections of widely recognized museums and
avid collectors. While every attempt has been made to make the representations
on this web site as accurate as possible, a computer screen simply can not
produce the subtlety and impact akin to watercolor or gouache found in the
actual prints. If you are interested in one of these works based on its
computer image, we suggest you try purchasing it. We guarantee you will be
happy with the final result. If not, you may return the artwork for a full
refund, minus a small-shipping-and-handling fee. Unless otherwise noted, each image on this site is about
22" x 22" printed on ph neutral watercolor paper by Singer Editions
of Boston, MA. Information about Singer Editions may be found at www.singereditions.com
a recognized and reliable agency. Prints that are grayscale on this website have a slight sepia
colored tonality when printed by the Iris process. All prints are unframed unless otherwise requested. On the
advice of the printer, they should be framed with UV neutralizing Plexiglas. To purchase one of these art works, or for more information,
